1. Where can I find active solicitations?

Interested parties may view and download solicitations on Planet Bids. Vendors that register and choose commodity codes will automatically be notified when solicitations are released.

2. How do I register as a supplier?

Interested parties should register with Planet Bids. It is very important to complete the application in full with all applicable commodity fields checked in order to receive solicitation invitations. Vendors are selected by the commodities and/or services that are checked on the application.

4. Who can respond to solicitations for city projects?

Any responsible and responsive supplier interested in submitting a proposal must be able to meet the minimum specifications and provide proof of insurance, bonding, and required licenses. 5. Does the City of Fort Myers manage procurement services for Lee County?

No. Lee County has its own Procurement Department. They may be reached at 239-689-7385 or by visiting the Lee County website.

6. How can sub-contractors bid to general contractors on various construction projects?

Register for Planet Bids, attend pre-solicitation meetings or email cfmpurchasing@cityftmyers.com Procurement Services for sign-in sheets of pre-solicitation meetings.
