No, that's stormwater.

No, we are not permitted to receive that type of waste.

No, only permitted users can receive our reclaimed water.

No, that is not permitted by DEP regulations.

5. What happens to the treated water?

After pollutants are removed the water is discharged into the Caloosahatchee River or treated further to provide reclaim water for beneficial use.

6. What happens to the solids?

They are dewatered at the plant and sent to the Lee County facility for further treatment and beneficial reuse.

Aluminum Sulfate-for solids and phosphorous removal, Sodium Hypochlorite-for disinfection, Sodium Bisulfite-for chlorine removal, Polymer-for dewatering.
