FORT MYERS, FL (Nov. 9, 2018) – The City of Fort Myers Yacht Basin is hosting the 46th annual Fort Myers Boat Show November 15-18, 2018, and organizers are anticipating it to be the largest show yet. Downtown construction adds to the excitement of this year’s show as the city attracts new venues for tourism and recreation.
Exhibits have been added on the west side of Centennial Park and the main entrance has been shifted to the corner of First and Carson Streets, west of the U.S.41 bridge (next to Joe’s Crab Shack). Visitors will stroll through displays of boats and accessories in the park and then along the river, bypassing the construction area to the east side of the show and the boats in-water. There are more on-land exhibits than ever and additional temporary docks are being added to accommodate boats in-water. Nearly 500 boats, more than 125 boat lines and hundreds of accessory booths will be on hand.
Parking is available on First Street less than one-half mile west of the show next to Publix. Parking is $5.00 and a free shuttle will bring visitors to the show entrance in less than two minutes. The shuttle will also run from downtown parking garages to the entrance of the boat show.
