The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is proud to announce that Frank Amati has joined the CRA as Community Redevelopment Manager.
As Community Redevelopment Manager, Mr. Amati will prepare, plan, develop reports, complete projects and programs related to Fort Myers’ redevelopment areas.
Mr. Amati had been employed by the City of Fort Myers Community Development Department (CDD) as a Real Estate Specialist since 2013 and was promoted to the CRA, as both are departments of the City.
As part of his duties with the City, Mr. Amati managed all the City’s Real Estate assets, negotiated acquisitions and dispositions of properties. He carried out City goals and objectives for adopted development plans which included strategic purchases to further economic growth. He also worked on major roadway projects as well as planning projects for building included on the historic registry.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from California University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Amati holds certifications as an Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management and as a Real Estate Sales Agent through the State of Florida.
Memberships include the National Association of Realtors; Royal Palm Coast Realtor Association; Community of Realtor Excellence (CORE), and the International Right of Way Association.
Mr. Amati is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to the CRA for revitalization and redevelopment of the City of Fort Myers. He is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has resided in Fort Myers for over ten years with his wife Kelly and their two children, Enzo and Nora.
