City of Fort Myers, Florida - City of Palms

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2018) – The City of Fort Myers is partnering with graduate students from Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of Michigan as a project of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation Collaboratory. Four students are conducting research on technology accessibility related to water usage and billing. Residents may receive a survey asking about water usage and billing. The information provided will be used to understand how to better accommodate the technology needs of residents in Fort Myers and improve the overall customer experience and efficiency of using these services.

This is the continuation of a collaboration between the Southwest Florida Community Foundation and the City of Fort Myers to work with local and national partners such as the University of Michigan and Florida Gulf Coast University to bring best practices and innovation to the government processes we deliver to our residents.
