FORT MYERS, FL (May 24, 2019) – The City of Fort Myers receives grant funding annually from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to administer the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The community meeting for the FY 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan takes place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at the Dr. Carrie Robinson Community Center, located at 2990 Edison Avenue, Fort Myers. All are welcome to attend and provide input.

The city hosts the community pre-development meeting to encourage citizen participation during the program’s planning process. The goal of the program is to develop viable urban communities through attainable housing and expanded economic opportunities for low and moderate-income individuals.
