Understanding the demographics of a neighborhood provides valuable insight on the needs of the community. Livability of the neighborhood has a major effect on the quality of life. Ward 6 has a median age of 51.  The population has the largest population growth. Total population in 2000 1,760 and in 2020 26,317 total population.   The highest median household income in Fort Myers at $82,146.00. There is potential to mentor others and aspire others in the community.  The knowledge economy exists in Ward 6 with the highest level of Graduate, Bachelor, and Associates degrees.
