Apprenticeship in the Trades
TCAA has the following programs:
Heating & Air Conditioning Refrigeration
Fire Sprinkler Fitters
NATE Certification Review Course
Electrical Journeyman Prep
Plumbing Journeyman Prep
The apprentices are required to take and complete all four years of apprenticeship training which includes 10 hours OSHA certification in addition to their regular classroom instruction. Apprentices are required to work 2,000 hours of on-the-job training and complete a minimum of 144 hours related classroom instruction for their specific trade.
Classes for the summer are available and a great resource for teachers and H.R. Professionals looking to increase the workforce talent with skills necessary for future generations.
