Ice Hockey

Youth recreational ice hockey programs teach basic skating, puck handling, shooting, and the rules of hockey. More importantly life skills such as sportsmanship, team concepts and friendships with teammates that can last a lifetime.


Hockey 101

Starting a new session every 6 weeks, this class will teach your child the basic skills needed to play the game of hockey:
  • Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 11:00 a.m.
  • $125

Adult Ice Hockey

Men’s Leagues

Men’s recreational ice hockey leagues allow adults of all ages the pleasure of competitive athletics with hockey players of their own skill level. Learn to play hockey classes offers adults the chance to try ice hockey for the first time. Later, they can move to one or more of our adult leagues including:
 
  • Monday - Tier III
  • Thursday - 40+
  • Sunday - Intermediate B

Adult Pick Up 

The cost is $15 per game. All players must have full gear and all players must be at least 18 years old to play.
Day Time
Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 10:20 p.m. 
Friday 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 


Youth Programs

All youth hockey programs are operated according to USA Hockey rules and regulations.
All leagues include weekly games and practices. Youth programs currently include:
  • Learn to Skate
  • Learn to Play Hockey
  • Mites (Ages 7-8)
  • Squirts (Ages 9-10)
  • PeeWee (Ages 11-12)
  • Bantam (Ages 13-14)
  • High School.

League Schedule

Cost includes a 12-game season plus playoffs. Season starts January 9th. Please contact Daniel Boyd at dboyd@cityftmyers.com or 239-321-7509 for questions. There will be a $50 late fee if full payment is not made by first ice session and registration date.
