Comprehensive Plan & Land Development Code (LDC)
City Comprehensive Plan
Comprehensive planning is responsible for the long range planning for the City of Fort Myers, with the Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map (FLUM) as the main tools to assist the city with their development goals and objectives. Land Development Code (LDC)
The purpose of the Land Development Code (LDC) is to guide the future growth, development, and redevelopment of the City in accordance with the city comprehensive plan. The LDC helps implement goals, policies and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. The LDC is below.
