We are pleased that you are here today, and we are glad to have the opportunity to introduce the Mayor's Office. Though our experiences and backgrounds are diverse, we have come together because we share a common mission: to preserve and protect the current resources of the City of Fort Myers, and to foster opportunities for growth and prosperity for all citizens. We know that successful cities are built on strong communities, so fostering development in Fort Myers´ neighborhoods will be a priority. Community leaders will be brought together, creating the synergy needed for lasting change. Smarter spending will result in tax dollars used equitably and wisely. Citizens will be treated with dignity and respect, and their opinions will determine the City´s short and long-term needs. We believe that our team offers a unique blend of skills, talents and abilities that will accomplish these goals.

Your participation is critical to our success. We need to hear your voice. Contact us by phone, e-mail, fax, or in person at City Hall. You are always welcome at any City Council meeting, but your presence at public hearings is vitally important. Together, we´ll see that our City´s future is a bright one.
