The City of Fort Myers' Youth Athletic Programs are instructional and recreational activities, based on the premise that all children are provided the opportunity to participate in athletic activities. These activities are designed to build confidence and to provide a positive atmosphere for a child’s appreciation of sports. We will endeavor to emphasize participation over competition and education over performance. We will strive to insure that all participants spend an equal amount of time in play. We will expect coaches to maintain a safe, positive, and nourishing environment for all participants, and provide them with the best possible instruction available. Above all, we will remember that all youth activities we offer are "for the kids".
YOUTH ATHLETICS
The following youth activities are 8-week programs. All programs are co-ed and the cost for each program is $40.00.
- Youth Flag Football – Played at Shady Oaks Park
- Youth Basketball – Played at the Skatium
- Youth Indoor Spring and Summer Soccer – Played at the Skatium
- Youth Roller Hockey is $50.00– Played at the Skatium
YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE
Come out and play! The City of Fort Myers Youth Soccer League plays several months throughout the year. The cost for the league is $25 per child. Registration for ages 5-13 is offered at various times. For league details, registration dates, and general information, call 239-321-7510.

LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL
In support of its commitment to betterment of communities in which we live, work and play, The City of Fort Myers Recreation Division recognizes Little League Baseball and the special emphasis they place on educating both children and adults on the many issues we face as members of a progressive society. Little League offers many exciting programs that open new opportunities throughout the community, including youth baseball leagues, special programs, coach training, camps and exciting awards!
ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUES
The City of Fort Myers Recreation Division works with several local organizations to offer quality adult softball leagues to the residents of and seasonal visitors to our area. League names and contact information are provided below:

ADULT INDOOR SOCCER - $40.00 per person or $400.00 per team (10 per team)
