This division provides the leadership necessary to carry out all public works activities.  They are in charge of the overall functioning of all public works divisions, and the relationships among them, as well as coordinating the city-wide capital improvement program, and seeking grant opportunities.  The department also assumes responsibility for hurricane preparedness, coordinating with other government and public safety agencies.  This division is also responsible for Utility Administration  to ensure we meet the current and future projected utility demand as well as ensure that the Utility Division is in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal requirements.
